Nepal is split into various trekking regions, those most popular and well known are of course the Everest region and Annapurnas. The Langtang region is less visited as it is not home to such well known mountains but still you will experience some fantastic views and fascinating culture. There are areas such as Mustang and Dolpo where you will find the entry fee is rather higher due to the sensitive nature of the area. Here you will find fewer tourists and relatively untouched culture amongst stunning scenery.
Many of the trails follow ancient trading routes travelling through pristine scenery, scenic river-banks, intricately terraced fields and the forested ridges connecting picturesque hamlets and mountain villages. Trekkers can walk along the rough but beautiful trails or virgin tracks in the lap of green and friendly looking hills. The colours change throughout the year you will see many varieties of beautiful vegetation with seasonal flowers blossoming, you may also enjoy some lovely wildlife sightings, predominantly bird life. Religion is obvious throughout the mountains and you will always be warmly greeted by the beautiful and charming local people.
